THE WORLDS BIGGEST BACKYARD ULTRA

MESSAGE FROM THE RACE DIRECTOR

Sydney’s Backyard Ultra was insane. Thank you to all the 473 runners who were on the start line of the world’s biggest backyard ultra 🔥

There are so many people to thank, from the volunteers, spectators, council, showground, elites, 24hr MC, photographers, videographers, medical, store ‘managers’, barristers, crew and everyone who did just one more yard. You all made this event special and I can never thank you enough for that ♥️

We’re not done yet but, over the next 12 months I promise that SBU will get bigger, better and break the world record one day. Just one more yard 🫡

- Race Director, Alex Treglown
